According the the Centers for Disease control and Prevention there are approximately 250 known foodborne illnesses in man and this range of known pathogens is ever growing as our detection techniques improve.  Chances are that at some point in time each and every person will be afflicted with a food-borne illness.  This page will attempt to cover a wide range of food related illnesses that afflict man.
